Coimbatore Auditions Day 1
After the successful Trichy auditions and this week we will have Coimbatore auditions in the Airtel Super Singer Junior 3. Also in the show we had change in the hosts of the show, after Anand and Bhavana this week we are having Anandakannan and Kalyani to host the show. This might be some improvement from the last week I guess. The dream gate of the Coimbatore auditions were opened having said that the queue started lined up at 3.30 AM.. Its very surprising to see them coming as early in the morning...Great going kids and parents.. Registration for the event started after the gate was opened and junior super singer Srikanth came in to host for sometime. Akilesh who came in for around 5 rounds in last season of the event has come this time again to try out his best. Preliminary judges for the auditions were Nikhil Mathew, Anitha, Prasanna and ..and they are expecting more things from Coimbatore kids given that the participation will be really high in kovai. Then finally the preliminary auditions got started and the contestants were given chance to get selected into their first stage of Airtel Super singer Junior 3. The main judges were also introduced so early in the auditions and I am guessing might be for the preselected contestants they would start judging. The main judges for the Coimbatore auditions were Manicka Vinayagam, Nithyashree Mahadevan and Mahathi.. again good choice of judges for the competition. As expected the pre-selected contestants of the competition were sent to the main judges for the auditions. The judges started judging the performance separately and looks like they were stricter this time here.
Vijay TV had Charlie Chaplin dressed person to entertain the kids and it is said that they will have similar more entertainment. We had the preliminary performances being shown for a very short time and they might have it more after a while I think. While these judges were looking at the pre-selected contestants, the preliminary audition for coimbatore kids was also happening simultaneously. The turn out of kids might be more and thats the reason the main auditions also started pretty quickly in the day. Today we saw Kalyani hosting everytime the show started after the sponsored advertisements in the channel and we might not see them much after a day or two in this week. Some of the kids were doing really well and got spot selected for the main auditions which will have all the 3 judges judging the performances. Today's telecast got over with both the preliminary auditions and first level auditions in front of the main judges. The show will continue to have the similar content tomorrow..
