Chennai Auditions Day 1
Chennai auditions of the Airtel Super singer junior 3 started this week and after Coimbatore/Trichy had their auditions, this will be the last chance for the kids to get into the show. Anand of Cinema karam koffee hosted the show and it was only him to start the show with and opening the gates for the kids to reach their dream. Ramya joined Anand to host the show and lets see how do they take forward the show. Auditions in Chennai started amidst the rains at Chennai with the kids very excited to get into the competition. The preliminary judges for the Chennai auditions were Nikhil Mathew, Anith, Ajeesh, Sai Sharan, Santhosh, Sathyaprakash and Pooja.. yeah thats the big list of judges to judge the initial stages of auditions. They came into the stage and sang "vilayadu mankatha" as a group and children started dancing on stage for the dance. All the judges shared their experience while they were in the auditions earlier in their successful seasons and Sai Sharan, Sathya had lot of cheer from the crowd. Super singer junior Srikanth was also there in the auditions as always he did in other places and the preliminary auditions were really really busy with all 7 judges starting to select the contestants for the next rounds in audition. With the green selection card, the selected contestants went onto meet the main level judges Mahathi and Pushpavanam Kuppuswamy. I guess there would be more judges added to the main level and these two just started their day early.
As expected Chennai audition had tremendous response from the kids and they didnt mind the rain at all...This time there were lot of very young kids to compete in the competition. The parents were trying to make their kids somehow sing and wanted to get the pride to be shown in television. Three more preliminary judges were added to the existing 7 with Raghinishree, Prasanna and Malavika to make the judges count to 10. Some of the kids were really very very funny and they were super innocent. Archana, a contestant was not allowing Mahathi to speak.. she was given 3 chances and was desperate to win the title. Finally she was eliminated but she had the confidence in her to come next time to win the title. Ramya and Anand went on finding siblings who have come for the auditions and started to speak with them. Today we had 50% of auditions being aired and we will have the rest of preliminary auditions following tomorrow and the selected kids will face the main judges.
